Flux is a young British designer who's distinct trademark of patchwork florals
cobbled together in whimsical shapes creates beautiful, feel-good clothes. Lu
graduated in 2006 from Edinburgh College of Art and went on to work as a design
assistant to Bernhard Willhelm in his Paris studio before returning to the UK
to start her own label.
“For the T-Shirt we wanted to create something with mutterings of a message but
nothing glaringly obvious. We had been reading about the danger of extinction
for the wild tigers due to poaching and habitat loss and thought that a tiger
would work perfectly as a print. We jazzed him up somewhat with patchwork
floral fur to give him his Lu Flux quintessence.”
Lu‘s design is printed on a plain white 180gsm t-shirt.
The girl in the images above is wearing size S - approx 48.5cm in width and 70cm in length (taken at back).
Natural fading of the design will occur when laundered. It is recommended that you wash the t-shirt inside out on a cool wash, maximum 30° and iron on the reverse only.
